ABSTRACT
The article offers insights from non-agency owner observers who contributed to the report of Regan Consulting concerning the condition of insurance companies in Minnesota. John Ward believes that state's commercial banks will be more likely to be sellers than buyers of insurance agencies. Jack Meusey impresses the lower unemployment rate of the state compare to other state in the country. Scott Erickson states that the down economy should not be a discouragement for insurance companies.
