ABSTRACT
The article presents the results of a study of e-groups, teams with members working and interacting from different locations across the globe through technological links. Conclusions of the study involving 60 people from around the world with ages 17 to 70 showed among others, that people joining a group whose oftentimes unarticulated needs are met by the group experience describe it as powerful, extraordinary or unforgettable. Ten suggestions are offered to create exceptional groups.
