ABSTRACT
The article reports on the plan of SportsOneSource Group to launch the SportScanInfo, a web-based research platform, by the Outdoor Industry Association in the U.S. The research platform has been anticipated to become OIA's and outdoor industry's official point-of-sale research source. The launching of the platform in February 2010 will provide an in-depth coverage on the weekly retail sales of outdoor products.
