ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efficiencies achieved by the Schneider Weisse following the installation of high accuracy conductivity sensors at its Bavarian brewery, to optimise the clean-in-place (CIP) process in Great Britain. It cites that the company has reduced cost and energy usage by the use of the Rosemount Analytical 410VP sensors from Emerson Process Management Ltd. The sensors would determine the electrolytic conductivity that allows the concentration of the CIP solution to be monitored.
