ABSTRACT
The article reports on the investigation of the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) concerning the 6-million pound climate change television advertising campaign of the government in Great Britain. The campaign aims to promote its "Act on Carbon Dioxide" initiative. The advertisement garnered complaints from viewers, who said that it was upsetting for children. As to Joan Ruddock, minister of the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the advertisement is consistent with government policy.
