ABSTRACT
This section offers news briefs on several Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) events. CIPD is holding a series of regional open evenings on CIPD Flexible Learning+ starting on September 7, 2009 in Edinburgh, Scotland. A volume of the publication "Impact" will address issues such as managing the link between risk and reward, management of workplace absence, and jobs crisis facing young people. The autumn Law on Tour workshops of the CIPD will start in October 2009.
