ABSTRACT
The article reports on the protests made by public-sector employees against unpaid holidays imposed on them by California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. The governor imposed workers to take three days' leave each month until June 2010 in an attempt to cut costs. The required leave is equivalent to a pay cut of about 14%.
