ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office concerning the voting process for long-term care facilities patients. According to the researchers, some of the guidelines for voting in those facilities may help in protecting against voter fraud and unreasonable influence. GAO recommended that the Election Assistance Commission (EAC) should collect and distribute information on cost-effective practices to provide access to vote while it ensures integrity.
