ABSTRACT
The article presents information about social care registration in different parts of Great Britain. In Northern Ireland, social care register is open to social workers (compulsory), residential childcare workers and managers. In Wales, social care registrations will be necessary for home care managers before July 2012. In Scotland, Social Services Council will begin registering home care managers in December 2010.
