ABSTRACT
The article reports on the memorandum of understanding between the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and the Olympic Committee (USOC) to offer Paralympic sport programming and community support such as funding and resources to the injured servicemember and veterans. As part of the agreement, the support includes training, equipment, access to Paralympic mentors and ongoing sports programming. It also mentions several grants for the said Paralympics.
