The article focuses on the Disabled Explorers and Sportsmobile West, a custom recreational vehicle built for people with mobility challenges in the U.S. Disabled Explorers founder and director Lance Blair, says the Wheelchair Accessible Van for Expeditions (WAVE) project allows people with disabilities to extend their outreach programs to a much larger group of people with disabilities. The WAVE will become the flagship for Disabled Explorers for an extended overland adventures.
