ABSTRACT
In this article the author discusses the use of the Toshiba/National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) ExploraVision Awards to structure his high school's Extracurricular Research and Development teams. An overview of the ExploraVision competition is presented. The article also offers tips on starting a team, a description of the author's coaching strategy, and the teaching strategy's benefits to students.
