Greek Submarine Programmes Cancelled

The article reports on the termination of submarine construction programmes of Greece due to lack of payment. It points out that due to funding deficiencies, the Howaldstwerke-Deutsche Werft GmbH (HDW) of Germany and Hellenic Shipyards SA (HSY) of Greece cancelled its submarine construction contract with the Hellenic Ministry of Defence (MoD). It also mentions that HDW and HSY have decided to declare the Hellenic MoD as being in default of its contractual obligations.
