ABSTRACT
The article reports on Pirelli & C. SpA's plan to invest 100 million dllars in Brazil through 2012 to expand production capacity for agricultural and off-the-road (OTR) tires. Earlier this year, the company committed to Brazil to expand passenger and light truck tire capacity there. The firm's plant in Santo Andre in Sao Paulo, Brazil will be made a manufacturing and technology hub for farm and OTR tire for the new project.
