ABSTRACT
The article reports on a survey by the Washington-based Pew Research Center concerning global warming. A total of 1,000 mayors had signed the U.S. Conference of Mayor's Climate Protection Agreement as of October 2009. The survey showed that fewer Americans think there is solid evidence of global warming. It also found that half of Americans favor setting limits on carbon emissions.
