ABSTRACT
The article focuses on two spectacular rose gardens in New Zealand. It describes the climate conditions in New Zealand that make rose growing easier for New Zealand rosarians. It traces how Nigel Pratt developed the Tasman Bay Roses, a rose garden in Motueka in the Marlborough district.
