ABSTRACT
The author reflects on the success of "Knock Out," the rose hybrid he developed and on his experiences in breeding low maintenance roses. He describes the success of "Knock Out." He discusses the steps involved in his rose breeding efforts. Information is presented on fungus gnats and thrips, two damaging indoor problems for rose growing. He explains how the success of "Knock Out," negatively affected his breeding efforts.
