ABSTRACT
The article offers information on the financial report of the Harvard University. The report revealed that the endowment decreased by 27.3 percent to 26 billion dollars and the private equity assets were sold in the secondary market by Harvard even when the market was the weakest. According to Jane Mendillo, endowment manager of Harvard University, there has been losses on portfolio of hegde funds, domestic stocks and junk debts and Harvard is planning to move more assets in-house.
