The article discusses the financial performance of banks that provided agricultural loans to farmers during the economic recession of 2008-2009. Lenders who provided services to farmers experienced third quarter profits in 2009. The author reports that soybean and corn crops are predicted to produce large harvests, allowing farmers to payback their operating loans.
