Credit Suisse Unit Settles an ARS Case

The article reports on a settlement which has been reached in 2009 between Credit Suisse Securities LLC and the securities division of the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies. As a result of the settlement Credit Suisse Securities LLC has agreed to buy back $79.4 million in auction-rate securities from Colorado investors who had alleged that the firm had not told them about the risks that were associated with the securities.
