ABSTRACT
The article examines the impact of the 2001 war in Afghanistan to Pakistan. Initially, the war in Afghanistan is an anti-terrorist operation of the U.S. However, the Pakistan army started on a major air and ground offensive against the rebellious Pashtun tribes in South Waziristan. Although 90% of Pakistanis are reportedly against the U.S.-led war in Afghanistan, many non-Pashtun Pakistanis are also said to be against the tribal rebellion on Northwest Frontier Province.
