ABSTRACT
The article highlights the CED's ninth-annual Broadband 50 that lists the biggest trends, deals and technologies of 2009. "TV Everywhere" which was launched by Time Warner Cable Inc. in early 2009 takes off to be on top of the lists. It was followed by a legal settlement of a dispute about remote-storage digital video recorders (RS-DVR) which was resolved by the U.S. Supreme Court in June 2009. The aspiration of Comcast Cable Communications Inc. to label Clearwire's Clear mobile placed on third.
