ABSTRACT
The article reports that Cisco Systems Inc. is purchasing another DVN Holdings Ltd.'s set-top box business which manufactures and sells largely in China. It notes that Cisco might pay 44.5 million dollars to DVN based on the company's performance. Ken Klaer, vice president and general manager of the International Cable Business Unit at Cisco, says that the acquisition will offer customers with powerful combination of DVN's products and Cisco IP Next-Generation Network (IP NGN) platform.
