ABSTRACT
The article reports on clinical trial options for managing malignant disease in dogs. The said trials are intended for dogs with splenic haemangiosarcoma and T cell lymphoma. Study shows that tyrosine kinase inhibitor treatment enhances the sensitivity to chemotherapy in splenic haemangiosarcoma cells and a potent direct antineoplastic effect is shown in T cell lymphoma. It notes that the safety and efficay of the said trials for dogs are further examined.
