ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement by Venom Group International, a Rathdrum, Idaho-based battery maker, regarding the relaunch of its line of consumer electronics batteries under the brand name, Venom Power Eco Alkaline. This relaunch is a result of the company's decision to buy carbon offsets in order for the batteries to be certified as carbon neutral. It claims that consumers, who patronize such carbon offsets have the chance to make up for carbon dioxide emissions.
