Agencies Need to Improve the Implementation and Use of Earned Value Techniques to Help Manage Major System Acquisitions

The article reports on the study conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the policies used in the information technology in the U.S. It notes that the used of earned value management on major IT investments are not consistent with its practice. Moreover, GAO recommended that the selected agencies must modify the policies of EVM.
