ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the occurrence of a user-configuration error in the web site of a leading upscale hotel brand as 90 percent of available rates of products were not displayed. Third-party channels using their branded Web site to search availability and rates were studied by revenue managers. Basics of price elasticity were familiarized. Guidance in comprehending the available distribution channels was provided to revenue managers.
