The article presents strategies of improving conversion rates of visitors in web sites of hospitality companies. A three or four question survey can be presented to customers regarding the purpose of their visit. Open-ended customer feedback can be combined with analytic data to better understand what discourages visitors in the reservation process. Focus groups can be conducted regarding site usability.
