College-Savings Firms Adopt Cash-Back Loyalty Programs

The article reports that two college-savings companies are offering customers rebates on services which include refinancing mortgages or opening online bank accounts. Futuretrust, a unit of Destination Maternity Corp., and Upromise Investments have teamed up with other financial services companies to offer the rebates. Adam Bashe, a managing director at Futuretrust, and Debby Hohler, a spokeswoman for Upromise, discuss the rebates.
