ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to the imports and exports of metal products in the U.S. The American Iron and Steel Institute Inc. (AISI) has supported the decision of the U.S. Commerce Department to impose countervailing duties on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) Chinese imports. International Stainless Steel Forum reveals that the production of stainless crude steel decreased. The American Institute for international Steel Inc. shows that the importation of steel declined.
