The article emphasizes the importance of networking with other professionals for human resource (HR) professionals in all stages of their careers, in order for them to build new contacts and share their knowledge and experience. It relates that the Chartered Institute for Professional Development (CIPD) has increased its efforts to promote face-to-face networking at the grassroots level. Thus, it encourages CIPD members to get in touch with their local branch so that they could network on a regular basis and keep abreast of the latest HR developments.
