ABSTRACT
The article reports on destinations most likely to make it big in the luxury market. With Rio de Janeiro currently celebrating its winning bid to host the 2016 Olympics, the spotlight is set on Brazil. Mozambique and Zanzibar, the African newcomers, are offering exciting alternatives to the Indian Ocean favorites. Both work well as twin centers with safari breaks with Mozambique easy to connect from Johannesburg and Kruger, and Zanzibar works well with mainland Tanzania or Kenya.
