ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs related to pension trusts. California governor Arnold Schwarzenegger has signed a bill that includes prohibiting former officials of public pension systems from selling investments to the state's retirement boards for two years after leaving those jobs. Massachusetts Pension Reserves Investment Management Board has terminated four hedge fund-of-funds alpha managers. Johnson Controls Inc. will contribute about 10 million dollars a month to 20 U.S. pension plans.
