ABSTRACT
The article reports on issues concerning high-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in the U.S. It says that the Corn Refiners Association Inc. (CRA) has spent 30 million dollars in an effort to educate the public, which includes investing for advertisements in newspapers and relaying its message about the product's myths and realities. It sates that bakers and snack manufacturers have been working with the CRA to lessen the harsh words over the HFCS.
