ABSTRACT
The article presents information on natural rubber (NR) production in 2009. According to statistics from the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries, natural rubber production in the largest NR-producing countries has fallen rapidly in the year. But, a report from the International Rubber Study Group states that massive plantings in the past decade promise a 50-percent rise in output by 2020.
