ABSTRACT
The article reports on the discounts offered by Travelers Insurance Co. on certain boat and yacht insurance policies. It is stated that the discounts are given to boaters who are using the Autotether wireless emergency-stop lanyard. It highlights the device which automatically shuts off a boat's engine if the operator falls overboard. According to the U.S. coast guard, falling overboard is a leading cause of boating fatalities and property damage each year.
