ABSTRACT
The article reports that increasing consumer use of prepaid debits cards, especially payroll and government-benefit cards, is leading to increase volume at networks of surcharge-free automated teller machine (ATM) networks. Cardtronics Inc., a company which has a network of 35, 000 ATMs, announced an increase in profits for the third quarter of 2009.
