The article reports that an all-cash tender offer has been issued by Vector Capital for Corel Corp., a packages software company. The 3.50 U.S. dollar per share offer of the buyout firm will expire on November 25, 2009. Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP and Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP served as legal counsel of Vector for the transaction.
