ABSTRACT
The article presents a research which determines the extent to which the Department of Defense (DOD) manages the synchronization of space system components, conducted by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO). The research showed that major space system acquisition programs perform many functions particularly navigation communications. The research also emphasizes that DOD failed to align delivery of space system components including satellites, ground control systems, user terminals.
