ABSTRACT
The article reports on the study conducted by the Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the physical condition of public school facilities receiving the Impact Aid funding for students living on Indian lands. According to the article, majority of the school districts in Montana had facilities in good condition while New Mexico has either good or fair condition. It notes that research studies from GAO suggested that better school facilities were associated with better student outcomes.
