The article focuses on a study by the U.S. Government Accountability Office (GAO) on the evaluation of the taxpayer service and enforcement for the 2010 filing season. The study discovers that the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) lacks a strategy for the prevention and resolution of errors. It suggests IRS to revise tax forms and publications in order to implement tax law changes and reprogram and test computer systems to integrate tax law changes.
