ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of teacher evaluations. According to the author the U.S. American Recovery and Reinvestment Act includes reporting requirements for schools with respect to evaluation results for their teachers and principals. States use various evaluation methods and given stimulus funds may be effected, the author notes that there is increased attention on the quality of the different evaluation tools used to gauge teacher and principal performance.
