Myers set to sell two rubber subsidiaries

The article reports that Myers Industries Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of a variety of rubber and plastic goods, has announced that it has entered into a non-binding letter of intent to sell virtually all of the assets of its Buckhorn Rubber Products Inc. and Michigan Rubber Products Inc. to Zhongding Sealing Parts Co. Ltd. of China. After the contract, Myers will be left with only Patch Rubber Products--a producer of goods for tire repair and retread product lines.
