ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the techniques used by the creative sound team of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince," headed by James Mather with director David Yates, for a realistic sound effects. The team combined Foley and passes of fire and water for the Death Eaters while the recorded sound of jumping on cardboard boxes for the air movement. Mather shares that Yates wants to keep the effects simple but as realistic as possible and would enthralled people than repelled.
