ABSTRACT
The article presents several environmental regulations in the U.S. A bill was signed by Connecticut Governor Jodi Rell that establishes protections for brownfield developers from the obligation to remediate contamination. Regulations that govern underground crude oil storage wells and associated brine ponds are adopted by Kansas Department of Health and the Environment. President Barack Obama has signed 2010 budget that provides 475 million dollars for the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative.
