Google director of technology, Craig Silverstein, pledged 5 million U.S. dollars to the Sebastian Ferrero Foundation for the construction of a children's hospital in Gainesville, Florida. The John P. Hussman Foundation gave 20 million U.S. dollars to the Miami Institute for Human Genomics.
