ABSTRACT
The article focuses on Chilean cuisine. Chile boasts its wealth of natural resources with its northern desert ideal for growing tropical fruits, its central Mediterranean climate best for produce, olives and wines, to the south are dairy cows and salmon farms, Patagonia big in meat production, and its 2,700-mile Pacific coast rich in seafood. Its food exports to the U.S. have risen to an average annual rate of 10% in the past 10 years according to the United Nation's Food and Agriculture Organization.
