The article announces that the 861-bed Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville, North Carolina launched their healthy dining options to improve employees' health and wellness. The hospital has opened a heart-healthy caf� in the East Carolina Heart Institute adjacent to the main hospital. According to general manager of food and nutrition Russ Currie, their menu will consist 80% heart-healthy food items that meet guidelines from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
