ABSTRACT
The article reports on the search of banks for next generation tools to monitor real-time wire payments in light of the wire fraud alert sent by the Financial Services Information Sharing and Analysis Center (FS/ISAC) in the U.S. Paul Henninger, director of product management, financial crimes solutions at Actimize Inc., notes that banks had an improvement in reducing false positives after implementing Actimize. The functionality of Actimize to detect 73 percent of wire fraud is cited.
