The article presents reasons concerning the importance of innovation among insurance companies. It includes the fact that globalization of business is opening doors for new capital and competitive markets. Another is the coming forth of new technological innovations which enables insurance consumers to know more information about the market. It relates that innovation is also essential to get away with the commoditization of services and products.
